CONSIDER those [stars] that rise only to set, 1 And those who undo the bonds gently, 2 And by those that swim along (i.e. angels or planets in their orbits, etc.). 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 Then arrange to do (the Commands of their Lord), 5 On the day when the first trump resoundeth. 6 Followed by the second blast, 7 hearts will throb on that Day 8 Their eyes humbled. 9 The disbelievers say, “Will we really return to our former state?” 10 after we have become bones and dust?" 11 They have said, "Such a resurrection will certainly be a great loss". 12 But verily, it will be but a single (Compelling) Cry, 13 And they will wake up suddenly. 14 HAS THE STORY of Moses ever come within thy ken. 15 When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 "Go to the Pharaoh who has become refractory, 17 Then say thou: wouldst thou to be purified? 18 Then I shall guide thee unto thy Lord so that thou shalt fear. 19 So he showed him the mighty sign. 20 but the Pharaoh rejected it and disobeyed (Moses). 21 and then he turned back to have recourse to his craftiness, 22 And he summoned all his people, 23 Yet to a rich man, 24 So Allah seized him with the punishment of the hereafter and the former life. 25 Indeed in this is a lesson for one who fears. 26
