He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because there came to him the blind man, [interrupting]. 2 But what could tell you that per chance he might become pure (from sins)? 3 or yet remember, and the Reminder profit him. 4 As for him who regardeth himself self-sufficient 5 To him do you address yourself. 6 although it is not for you to be concerned if he remained unpurified. 7 And he who comes to thee eagerly 8 and fearfully, 9 You neglect. 10 By no means (should it be so)! For it is indeed a Message of instruction: 11 So let him who pleases mind it. 12 in [the light of His] revelations blest with dignity, 13 Exalted (in dignity), kept pure and holy, 14 In the hands of scribes 15 Noble, virtuous. 16 Woe to man! How ungrateful he is! 17 From what did He create him? 18 He created him from a living germ. He determined his fate 19 then the way eased for him, 20 Then He causes him to die, then assigns to him a grave, 21 Then when He wills, He will resurrect him. 22 No! Man has not yet accomplished what He commanded him. 23 Let the human being think about (how We produce) his food. 24 For that We pour forth water in abundance, 25 and then We cleaved the earth asunder. 26 to yield therein corn, 27 grapes, and fresh fodder, 28 and olives, and palms, 29 thickly planted gardens, 30 And fruits and grasses: 31 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 32 But when the deafening blast is sounded, 33 Man will fly from his brother, 34 And his mother and his father, 35 And from his wife and his children. 36 For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him. 37 on that Day some faces will be beaming, 38 Laughing and full of joy, 39 but some faces will be covered with dust 40 enveloped by darkness. 41 Those, they are the unbelievers, the immoral. 42
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
