Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
