The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
