See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 Therefore, do not hasten (things) against them, for We count out to them a number, 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty. 86 [on that Day] none will have [the benefit of] intercession unless he has [in his lifetime] entered into a bond with the Most Gracious. 87 They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 And it is not worthy of the Beneficent Allah that He should take (to Himself) a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
