Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
