Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

Indeed We sent forth Noah to his people and he said: 'O my people! Serve Allah, you have no other god than Him Indeed I fear for you the chastisement of an awesome Day.' 59 The chiefs of his people said: verily we see thee in error manifest. 60 He said: O my people! there is no error in me, but I am an apostle from the Lord of the worlds. 61 I bring to you the messages of my Lord, and give you sincere advice, for I know from God what you do not know. 62 Marvel ye that there should come unto you a Reminder from your Lord by means of a man among you, that he may warn you, and that ye may keep from evil, and that haply ye may find mercy. 63 And yet they gave him the lie! And so We saved him and those who stood by him, in the ark, the while We caused those who had given the lie to Our messages to drown: verily, they were blind folk! 64
