Truly, the God-fearing shall dwell amid gardens and fountains -- 45 They will be told: "Enter it in peace and security." 46 We shall cleanse their hearts of all traces of ill-will; they will be like brethren seated on couches facing one another. 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 But My punishment is surely a painful one. 50 Tell them about Abraham's guests: 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy." 53 Said he: "Do you give me this glad tiding despite the fact that old age has overtaken me? Of what [strange thing,] then, are you giving me a tiding!" 54 They said, "We have, indeed, given you glad tidings in truth; do not therefore despair." 55 He said, "No one despairs of the mercy of his Lord except those who are in error. 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They said, "We are sent to a sinful people. 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 but his wife. We decreed that she should be amongst those who remain behind. 60
