The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by (the angels) who stand in ranks, 1 By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way. 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 that your Lord is the only Lord. 4 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Lord of the Eastern regions. 5 We have adorned the lowest heaven with the beauty of the planets; 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 These satans cannot listen to what transpires in the High Council for they are pelted away from every side 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealing and they are pursued by a flaming fire of piercing brightness. 10 Then inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?" Indeed, We created men from sticky clay. 11 Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Quran). 12 And when they are warned they pay no heed. 13 and when they become aware of a [divine] message, they turn it to ridicule 14 and say: 'This is nothing but clear sorcery' 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected. 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 for that [resurrection which they deride] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry - and then, lo! they will begin to see [the truth] 19 They will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 “This is the Day of Judgement, which you used to deny!” 21
