Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 And those that distinguish distinctly, 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 excusing or warning, 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 For the living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40
