▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10

And let not those who disbelieve think they will escape. Indeed, they will not cause failure [to Allah]. 59 Hence, make ready against them whatever force and war mounts you are able to muster, so that you might deter thereby the enemies of God, who are your enemies as well, and others besides them of whom you may be unaware, [but] of whom God is aware; and whatever you may expend in God's cause shall be repaid to you in full, and you shall not be wronged. 60 ۞ Then if they should be inclined to make peace, make peace with them, and put your trust in God. Surely, it is He who is All Hearing and All Knowing. 61 But if they intend to deceive you - then sufficient for you is Allah. It is He who supported you with His help and with the believers 62 And (as for the believers) hath attuned their hearts. If thou hadst spent all that is in the earth thou couldst not have attuned their hearts, but Allah hath attuned them. Lo! He is Mighty, Wise. 63 O Prophet! sufficient unto thee is Allah,- (unto thee) and unto those who follow thee among the Believers. 64
