Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (in seeking a scourge against them). We are counting their days. 84 The Day shall soon come when We shall bring together the God-fearing to the Most Compassionate Lord, as honoured guests; 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant: 93 He has indeed counted them, and He has numbered them exactly. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 We have made it easy in your own tongue in order that you proclaim the glad tidings to the cautious and give warning to a stubborn nation. 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
