The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the Verses of the manifest Book [this Quran, which was promised by Allah in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear]. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
