Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those that pluck out vehemently 1 and gently take it away; 2 by those that swim serenely 3 By the angels hastening, 4 by the managers (angels) affair. 5 On the day when the trembling one will tremble. (The disbelievers will certainly taste the punishment.) 6 There will follow it the subsequent [one]. 7 (Some) hearts that Day will shake with fear and anxiety. 8 Their looks will be downcast. 9 They say: "Shall we go back to our original state 10 after we have become bones and dust?" 11 They said: That then would be a return occasioning loss. 12 But it shall be only a single cry, 13 and they will be upon the surface of the earth (alive). 14 Has not there come to you the story of Musa? 15 When his Lord called upon him in the holy valley, twice, 16 (Saying:) Go thou unto Pharaoh - Lo! he hath rebelled - 17 And say (unto him): Hast thou (will) to grow (in grace)? 18 Then I will guide you to your Lord that you may come to fear Him.'" 19 And thereupon he [went to Pharaoh and] made him aware of the great wonder [of God's grace]. 20 But [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] belied and disobeyed; 21 and then he turned back to have recourse to his craftiness, 22 Then he collected (his men) and made a proclamation, 23 Saying, "I am your Lord, Most High". 24 Allah therefore seized him, in the punishment of this world and the Hereafter. 25 Indeed in this is a lesson for one who fears. 26
