SAY [O Muhammad]: "O men! I am but a plain warner [sent by God] unto you!" 49 And those who have believed and done righteous deeds - for them is forgiveness and noble provision. 50 Whereas those who strive against Our signs, seeking to defeat their purpose, shall be the inmates of the Fire. 51 And We did not send before you any messenger or prophet except that when he spoke [or recited], Satan threw into it [some misunderstanding]. But Allah abolishes that which Satan throws in; then Allah makes precise His verses. And Allah is Knowing and Wise. 52 This is in order to make the interpolations of Satan a test for those whose hearts are diseased and hardened: Surely the sinners have gone far in dissent. 53 And that those who have been given knowledge may know that it (this Quran) is the truth from your Lord, and that they may believe therein, and their hearts may submit to it with humility. And verily, Allah is the Guide of those who believe, to the Straight Path. 54 Those who reject Faith will not cease to be in doubt concerning (Revelation) until the Hour (of Judgment) comes suddenly upon them, or there comes to them the Penalty of a Day of Disaster. 55 The order will be God's on that Day; He will judge between them. Then those who had come to believe and done the right will be in gardens of delight. 56 And those who disbelieved and denied Our signs – for them will be a disgraceful punishment. 57
