Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
