The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
