The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 And the promised day, 2 And [by] the witness and what is witnessed, 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers. 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and believing women, and then do not repent, will surely suffer the punishment of Hell, and the torment of burning. 10 As for those who believed and acted righteously, theirs shall be Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph. 11 The vengeance of God is terribly severe. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 and the Most Effective in His decision. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 Yet the infidels persist in denial. 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 This is indeed the glorious Qur'an 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
