When the caravan left the town, their father said, "I smell Joseph's scent. I hope that you will not accuse me of senility". 94 They answered: "By God! Thou art indeed still lost in thy old aberration!" 95 Then, as the harbinger of happy news arrived and put the garment over his face his eyesight was restored. He said: "Did I not tell you? I know from God what you do not know." 96 They said, “O our father! Seek forgiveness for our sins, for we were indeed guilty.” 97 He said: I will ask for you forgiveness from my Lord; surely He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. 98 So, when they entered unto Joseph, he took his father and mother into his arms saying, 'Enter you into Egypt, if God will, in security.' 99 And he lifted his father and mother upon the throne; and the others fell down prostrate before him. 'See, father,' he said, 'this is the interpretation of my vision of long ago; my Lord has made it true. He was good to me when He brought me forth from the prison, and again when He brought you out of the desert, after that Satan set at variance me and my brethren. My Lord is gentle to what He will; He is the All-knowing, the All-wise. 100 ۞ "My Lord! You have indeed bestowed on me of the sovereignty, and taught me the interpretation of dreams; The (only) Creator of the heavens and the earth! You are my Wali (Protector, Helper, Supporter, Guardian, etc.) in this world and in the Hereafter, cause me to die as a Muslim (the one submitting to Your Will), and join me with the righteous." 101 That is of the news We reveal to you of the unseen. You were not present when they agreed upon their plan, scheming. 102 And most men will not believe though you desire it eagerly. 103 And no reward dost thou ask of them for this: it is no less than a message for all creatures. 104
