The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the (angels) who tear out (the souls of the wicked) with violence; 1 And [by] those who remove with ease 2 by those that swim serenely 3 and the outstrippers (angels), outstripping, 4 and by the angels who regulate the affairs, (you will certainly be resurrected). 5 [HENCE, think of] the Day when a violent convulsion will convulse [the world,] 6 Followed by oft-repeated (commotions): 7 hearts will be throbbing, 8 Their looks will be downcast. 9 They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]? 10 even though we may have become [a heap of] crumbling bones?" 11 They said: That then would be a return occasioning loss. 12 Surely they will need no more than a single stern blast, 13 When, behold, they will be in the (full) awakening (to Judgment). 14 Has there come to you the story of Musa (Moses)? 15 When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 Go to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed all bounds (in crimes, sins, polytheism, disbelief, etc.). 17 and say, 'Will you reform yourself? 18 and that I should guide thee to thy Lord, then thou shalt fear?"' 19 Then Moses (went to Pharaoh and) showed him the Great Sign; 20 But (the Pharaoh) disavowed and disobeyed. 21 He then turned away, striving in his effort. 22 Then he gathered (men) and called out. 23 And then said, “I am your most supreme lord.” 24 So Allah seized him with the punishment of the hereafter and the former life. 25 Truly there is a lesson in this for those who fear (the consequences). 26

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
