Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 watching over you 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 It is the day when no soul will have power to do the least for a soul, and God's alone will be done. 19
