The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 THESE ARE MESSAGES of the divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth! 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
