Hizb 46

So also was Jonah among those sent (by Us). 139 He fled to the overloaded ship. 140 And he drew lots and was among the losers. 141 Then a fish swallowed him, and he was blameworthy. 142 Had it not been that he (repented and) glorified Allah, 143 he would certainly have remained inside the fish until the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore while he was sick, 145 And We grew a tree of gourd (as a shelter) above him. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (folk) or more 147 And they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while. 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Is it not a lie invented by them when they say: 151 Allah hath begotten. Allah! verily they tell a lie. 152 Hath He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you decide? 154 Will ye not then be admonished? 155 Or, is there for you a clear warranty 156 Bring your Book, if you speak truly! 157 They have said that there is a relationship between Him and the jinn. The jinn certainly know that they will all be brought to suffer torment. 158 (They say): “Exalted be Allah above what they attribute to Him, 159 except for the sincere worshipers of Allah. 160 Therefore you and all what you worship. (The disbelievers and their deities.) 161 Can mislead anyone away from Him, 162 Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire. 163 And the angels say, “Each one of us has an appointed known position.” 164 And most surely we are they who draw themselves out in ranks, 165 we are they that give glory. 166 AND, INDEED, they [who deny the truth] have always been wont to say, 167 "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). 168 Surely we would have been the bondmen of God sincere. 169 But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. 170 And verily Our word went forth of old unto Our bondmen sent (to warn) 171 Most surely they shall be the assisted ones 172 And verily Our host! they are to be overcome. 173 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 174 And watch them (how they fare), and they soon shall see (how thou farest)! 175 Do they want to suffer Our torment immediately? 176 But when it descends into the open space before them, evil will be the morning for those who were warned (and heeded not)! 177 And turn away from them for some time. 178 And see thou: they themselves shall presently see. 179 Glory to thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)! 180 And peace be on the apostles. 181 And all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. 182
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
