Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The tree of Zaqqum will indeed be 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 like molten lead will it boil in the belly, 45 As does boiling water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 This is what you doubted?" 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 among gardens and springs, 52 Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 Thus shall it be. And We shall pair them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Wait (for God's decree) and they too will be waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
