The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
