Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 even till you visit the tombs. 2 Lo! presently ye shall know. 3 You shall cetainly know (about the consequences of your deeds). 4 And yet if you knew with positive knowledge 5 You will surely see the Hellfire. 6 Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision. 7 and on that Day you will most surely be called to account for [what you did with] the boon of life! 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
