When your Lord called out to Moses, saying, "Go to the wrongdoing people, 10 the people of Pharaoh; will they not be godfearing?' 11 He said: "My Lord! I fear that they will brand me a liar. 12 I feel nervous and my tongue is not fluent, so send Aaron with me. 13 They also have a sin against me, and I fear they will slay me.' 14 He said, “Not like this (any more); both of you go with Our signs, We are with you, All Hearing.” 15 "And when you both come to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), say: 'We are the Messengers of the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists), 16 Send with us the Children of Isra'il? 17 The Pharaoh said, "Did we not bring you up in our home as an infant and did you not live with us for many years 18 "And thou didst a deed of thine which (thou knowest) thou didst, and thou art an ungrateful (wretch)!" 19 Moses replied, "I did that when I was one of the misguided, 20 Then I ran away from you in fear, but my Lord granted me the law and has appointed me as a Messenger. 21 And is this a favor of which you remind me - that you have enslaved the Children of Israel?" 22 Pharaoh said: And what is the Lord of the Worlds? 23 He said, 'The Lord of the heavens and earth, and what between them is, if you have faith.' 24 Fir'awn said unto those around him: hear ye not? 25 He said: Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of old. 26 [Pharaoh] exclaimed: "Behold, [this] your 'apostle' who [claims that he] has been sent unto you is mad indeed! 27 He said, 'The Lord of the East and West, and what between them is, if you have understanding,' 28 Pharaoh said, "If you put forward any god other than me, I will surely put you in prison". 29 (Moses) said: "Even if I showed you something clear (and) convincing?" 30 Pharaoh said, "Show it then, if you are telling the truth!" 31 So [Moses] threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it appeared white to the onlookers. 33
