THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
