(And it was part of His scheme) when Allah said: 'O Jesus! I will recall you and raise you up to Me and will purify you (of the company) of those who disbelieve, and will set your followers above the unbelievers till the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me you shall return, and I will judge between you regarding what you differed. 55 Then as for those who disbelieved I shall torment them with a severe torment in the world and the Hereafter, nor shall have they any helpers. 56 As for those who have believed and do good works, they shall be given their reward in full. God does not love evil-doers. 57 "This is what we rehearse unto thee of the Signs and the Message of Wisdom." 58 The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: "Be". And he was. 59 This is the truth from your Lord; be not, then, among those who doubt. 60 And if anyone should argue with you about this [truth] after the knowledge you have received, say to them, "Come! Let us gather our sons and your sons, our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves; and then let us pray earnestly and invoke the curse of God upon the liars. 61 This is the true story (of Jesus). There is no Lord but God. It is God who is Majestic and All-wise. 62 And if they turn their backs, assuredly God knows the workers of corruption. 63
