The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Blissful are the believers 1 They who are during their prayer humbly submissive 2 And those who from everything vain turn away. 3 those who pay the zakat; 4 And who guard their private parts, 5 Save from their wives or the (slaves) that their right hands possess, for then they are not blameworthy, 6 Those who desire to go beyond such limits they commit transgression, 7 those who are faithful to their trusts and promises; 8 to their promise, 9 Those are the inheritors 10 that shall inherit Paradise; and in it they shall abide for ever. 11 We created man out of the extract of clay, 12 then We placed him as a drop of fluid in a safe place, 13 Then We made the Nutfah into a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood), then We made the clot into a little lump of flesh, then We made out of that little lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We brought it forth as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators. 14 Then indeed, after that you are to die. 15 and then, behold! you shall be raised from the dead on Resurrection Day. 16 And We have made, above you, seven tracts; and We are never unmindful of (our) Creation. 17 We sent down water from the sky in due measure, and lodged it in the earth, and We are able to take it all away. 18 Then through water We caused gardens of date-palms and vines to grow for you wherein you have an abundance of delicious fruits and from them you derive your livelihood. 19 And a tree that grows out of Mount Sinai which produces oil and a condiment for those who eat. 20 And surely in the cattle there is a lesson for you; We give you to drink of what is in their bellies, and many uses there are in them for you, and of them you eat; 21 and by them - as by the ships [over the sea] - you are borne [overland]. 22
