Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For what day is it timed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 for the living and the dead? 26 and have We not set on it proud, firm mountains, and given you sweet water to drink? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
