The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
