Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the white forenoon 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
