Al-Hijjr 4 of 6
The pious will live in gardens with streams 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed. 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 and that My punishment is the painful chastisement. 50 And tell them of Abraham's guests, 51 They entered to him and said: 'Peace' but he replied: 'We are afraid of you' 52 [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy." 53 He said, “Do you convey to me the glad tidings upon old age reaching me? So upon what do you convey glad tidings?” (* Prophet Ibrahim said this out of surprise.) 54 They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing." 55 He said: And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord but the erring ones? 56 He said, 'And what is your business, envoys?' 57 They said: verily we have been sent unto a people guilty 58 "(All) except the family of Lout (Lot). Them all we are surely going to save (from destruction). 59 "Other than his wife who, it is decreed, will remain with those who will stay behind." 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
