Blessed is He who, if He please, can give you better things than that; gardens watered by flowing streams, and palaces too. 10 They deny the Hour. For those who deny that Hour, We have prepared a blazing fire. 11 When it shall come into their sight from a distant place, they shall hear its vehement raging and roaring. 12 And when they are cast within a narrow space of it chained together, they would plead for death. 13 But they will be told, "Do not call today for one death, call for many deaths!" 14 Say: Is that (doom) better or the Garden of Immortality which is promised unto those who ward off (evil)? It will be their reward and journey's end. 15 Theirs therein shall be all that they wish for, as abiders; a promise from thy Lord to be asked for. 16 And on that Day (your Lord will gather these people together as well as their deities, whom they worship besides AIlah. Then He will ask them, "Did you mislead these servants of Mine, or did they themselves go astray?" 17 They will say: "Glorified be You! It was not for us to take any Auliya' (Protectors, Helpers, etc.) besides You, but You gave them and their fathers comfort till they forgot the warning, and became a lost people (doomed to total loss). 18 Thus they will give you the lie regarding what ye say, then ye can neither avert (the doom) nor obtain help. And whoso among you doeth wrong, We shall make him taste great torment. 19 And We did not send before you, [O Muhammad], any of the messengers except that they ate food and walked in the markets. And We have made some of you [people] as trial for others - will you have patience? And ever is your Lord, Seeing. 20
