Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 And when the heaven is cloven asunder. 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 for an appointed term? 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Did We not make the earth as a gathering place 25 the living and the dead? 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40
