▼ 79 The Snatchers
Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven that He constructed? 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
