The people of the Wood too called the messengers liars. 176 Shu'aib said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 177 I am a trustworthy messenger to you: 178 So fear Allah and obey me. 179 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 180 ۞ Give full measure, and cause no loss to others. 181 Weigh on an even balance. 182 Wrong not mankind in their goods, and do not evil, making mischief, in the earth. 183 “And fear Him Who created you and the earlier creations.” 184 They said: "Surely you are deluded. 185 You are but a man like ourselves, and indeed, we think you are among the liars. 186 So cause a piece of the sky to fall upon us if you are truthful." 187 He said, "My Lord knows all that you do." 188 But they gave him the lie. And thereupon suffering overtook them on a day dark with shadows: and verily, it was the suffering of an awesome day! 189 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 190 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 191
