We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
