▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 in a hidden Book 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
