Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
