And recall what time thy Lord called unto Musa, saying: go thou unto the wrong-doing people. 10 The people of Pharaoh. Will they not fear Allah?" 11 He said: My Lord! Lo! I fear that they will deny me, 12 And that my breast will tighten and my tongue will not be fluent, so send for Aaron. 13 They hold a sin against me, and I fear that they will kill me' 14 (It was) said: "By no means. Go with My signs, both of you. I am verily with you and I hear. 15 go both to Pharaoh and both of you say to him: 'We are (each) a Messenger from the Lord of all the Worlds. 16 ‘That you let the Descendants of Israel go with us.’” 17 [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said [to Musa (Moses)]: "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you did dwell many years of your life with us. 18 And thou didst the deed thou didst, being one of the ungrateful!' 19 Replied [Moses]: "I committed it while I was still going astray; 20 So I fled from you when I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and prophethood and appointed me [as one] of the messengers. 21 "And this is the favour with which thou dost reproach me,- that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel!" 22 Firon said: And what is the Lord of the worlds? 23 He said, 'The Lord of the heavens and earth, and what between them is, if you have faith.' 24 Fir'awn said unto those around him: hear ye not? 25 [Moses] said, "Your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers." 26 Said Firaun, “This (Noble) Messenger of yours, who has been sent towards you, has no intelligence!” 27 [Moses] said, "Lord of the east and the west and that between them, if you were to reason." 28 'If you take any other god except myself' he (Pharaoh) replied, 'you shall be thrown into prison' 29 He said, 'What, even though I brought thee something so manifest?' 30 Fir'awn said: forth with it then, if thou art of the truth-tellers. 31 He cast down his staff and thereupon it was a clear serpent. 32 And he drew out his hand, and it appeared [shining] white to the beholders. 33
