Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 These are verses of the Book of Wisdom 2 A guidance and a mercy for the good, 3 who perform the prayer, and pay the alms, and have sure faith in the Hereafter. 4 Such are on guidance from their Lord, and such are the successful. 5 And of the people is he who buys the amusement of speech to mislead [others] from the way of Allah without knowledge and who takes it in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment. 6 When Our revelations are recited to them, they turn back on their heels out of pride as if they did not hear them or their ears had been sealed off. Warn them of the painful torment. 7 Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds - for them are the Gardens of Pleasure. 8 wherein they will abide forever. That is God's true promise; He is the Mighty, the Wise One. 9 He created the heavens without any pillars visible to you and He placed mountains in the earth as pegs lest it should turn topsy turvy with you, and He dispersed all kinds of animals over the earth, and sent down water from the sky causing all kinds of excellent plants to grow on it. 10 This is the creation of Allah. So show Me what those other than Him have created. Rather, the wrongdoers are in clear error. 11
