THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
