▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 and that hour you are watching 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
