Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say, "Indeed, I do not possess for you [the power of] harm or right direction." 21 Say thou: verily none can protect me from Allah, nor can I find beside Him any refuge. 22 Unless I convey from God and deliver His message." For those who disobey God and His Apostle is the fire of Hell, where they will abide for ever; 23 Till, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who it is that is weaker concerning helpers and less important concerning numbers. 24 Say (O Muhammad, unto the disbelievers): I know not whether that which ye are promised is nigh, or if my Lord hath set a distant term for it. 25 Knower He of the Unseen, and He discloses not His Unseen to anyone, 26 "Except a messenger whom He has chosen: and then He makes a band of watchers march before him and behind him, 27 so that He may know that the messengers have delivered the messages of their Lord. He encompasses all that is with them and He keeps count of all things. 28

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
