Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the winds (or angels or the Messengers of Allah) sent forth one after another. 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 To clear or to warn. 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 the living and the dead? 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 When the stars are obliterated, 35 And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40

ColorfulQuran.com's English translation loads a random set of translators with equal probability, one translator for each verse. If you have difficulty understanding an interpretation, tap on the page number to reload it with a different set of translators. You may find it clearer, God willing. ColorfulQuran.com does not endorse or prefer any particular translation over another and displays it only for information.
Click or tap on "random" to go to any random page. Click or tap the triangle to the left of "random" to go to a random page before the current page, or the triangle to the right to go to a random page after the current page. Using these features of ColorfulQuran.com, you can use the right triangle or arrowhead to skim through the entire Holy Book from the first Surah, The Key (Al-Fatihah), to the last, The People (An-Nas), in a few minutes while stopping at random pages in between. This will make your readings cluster more on Juz Amma's short surahs at the end of the Quran. You can also do the same in reverse order using the left triangle or arrowhead, which will cluster your readings more at the beginning of the Holy Quran.
