۞ O people, it is you who stand in need of Allah; as for Allah, He is Self-Sufficient, Immensely Praiseworthy. 15 He could take you away if He pleased and bring a new creation (in your place). 16 That is not a hard thing for Allah. 17 No burden-bearer shall bear another's burden, and if some over-laden soul should call out for someone else to carry his load, not the least portion of it will be borne for him, even though he were a near relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord in the unseen, and pray regularly. Anyone who purifies himself will benefit greatly from doing so. To God all shall return. 18 The blind and the sighted are not equal, 19 Nor the darkness and the light, 20 And neither are the shadow and the hot sunshine! 21 nor are the living and the dead. God causes whom He will to hear Him, but you cannot make those who are in their graves hear you. 22 Thou art naught but a warner. 23 We have sent you in all truth as a bearer of glad news and a warner. No nation who lived before was left without a warner. 24 And if they give thee the lie - even so gave the lie to the truth [many of] those who lived before their time, [when] there came unto them their apostles with all evidence of the truth, and with books of divine wisdom, and with light-giving revelation; 25 Then I took hold of those who disbelieved. So how terrible was My disapproval! 26
