The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the midmorning, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
