The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
